Renovation and extension of Gerberstraße Primary School – lift systems

Summary

The procurement covers the preparation of design information, supply, installation and handover ready for use of two lift systems in buildings 7 and 8 of the Gerberstraße primary school in Solingen. Building 7 is to receive a traction passenger lift for 8 people, with a 630 kg capacity and three stops; a lift with three stops is also to be installed in building 8. The work also includes lift-shaft smoke extraction and ventilation systems, cabling and associated equipment. The lifts must be properly tested and commissioned, with acceptance inspection carried out by a notified body. The planned work period is 11 January 2027 to 17 February 2027. Price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted electronically in German using the required forms; alternative bids are not permitted. Bidders must provide the required declarations and qualification information, including references from the previous five years and turnover and workforce information for the previous three financial years. The successful contractor must provide evidence of liability insurance with cover of EUR 2,000,000.
