Service contract for operating IT services at the Ministry of Education and Child Daycare Support of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania

Summary

The tender covers IT services to keep the IT environment of the Ministry of Education and Child Daycare Support of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania operational. On request, the contractor will administer, maintain and repair computers and systems, install and configure software, assist users, and record work in the contracting authority’s ticketing system. Systems engineering work also includes administering servers, network equipment, firewalls and system software, and keeping system documentation up to date. The environment comprises approximately 750 notebooks and 40 iPads across 23 locations throughout Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania; about 75% of the services are expected to be requested in the Schwerin area. The estimated, non-binding monthly volumes are 60 hours of IT service work and 140 hours of IT systems engineering. Services will be ordered as needed, and the contracting authority is not committed to ordering a fixed volume. The contract has a 24-month initial term, with two options for 12-month extensions. Offers will be evaluated on both service quality and price. Bidders must submit the required qualification evidence, at least three suitable reference contracts lasting at least 12 months each from the last three years, evidence of financial standing and insurance, and declarations on staff numbers and language skills.
