Building design: centralisation of supply and waste logistics

Summary

The procurement is for building design services, work stages 2–8, at the Westend site of DRK Kliniken Berlin. The project will provide centralised supply and waste logistics in the basement of Building I, separated from public circulation areas; the project budget framework is EUR 10,280,000 including VAT and a 10% contingency. The work covers alterations to an existing building while the hospital remains operational, construction phasing where needed, construction supervision at the Westend hospital, and monitoring demolition in areas being vacated at the Mitte site. The contract covers building design only, not specialist building-services design; however, the contractor must coordinate its design with the specialist designers and project management. The services also include preparing a detailed preliminary planning package, including documenting existing conditions, preparing the room programme, cost calculations under DIN 276 down to the third level, scheduling, economic comparison of options and drawings. The offer must be submitted electronically in German by 16 October 2026. The contract is not divided into lots and variant offers are not permitted. Tenderers must submit a lump-sum fee. Evaluation considers the fee, the proposed project team and the team members’ personal references.
