S 85 works south of Lommatzsch, Mertitz section, construction phase 3.2 – Removal of the Zöthain weir

Summary

The Saxon State Office for Road Construction and Transport, Meißen branch, is procuring construction works to remove the weir at Zöthain as part of the S 85 works south of Lommatzsch, in the Mertitz section, construction phase 3.2, Lot 6.1, Measure 1E. The works include dismantling the former weir, clearing and profiling the watercourse, installing stone protections and groynes, and carrying out landscaping and riverbank stabilisation, followed by three years of maintenance. Main quantities include approximately 3,000 m² of vegetation clearance, 40 m³ of weir demolition, 120 m³ of earthworks, 2,800 m² of topsoil work and seeding, and 960 willow cuttings.
