Geotechnical investigation on Reinsburgstraße

Summary

The City of Stuttgart is procuring preliminary geotechnical and groundwater investigations on Reinsburgstraße, between Rotebühlstraße and Paulinenstraße, to support planned sewer renovation and replacement. The works include approximately 16 point checks for unexploded ordnance, 11 rotary core boreholes up to about 15 m deep, five small boreholes up to about 6 m, and two hand-dug small boreholes up to 3 m beneath the floor of an underground passage. If groundwater is encountered, up to three core boreholes are to be converted into groundwater monitoring points. The published work period is 18 January to 19 February 2027.
