Supply of chainsaws

Summary

The Berlin Fire Brigade is procuring 10 chainsaws, with the STIHL MS 462 C-M as the specified model or an equivalent saw of equivalent design and operation. The required power is 4.4 kW; weight without the guide bar, chain or fuel is 6 kg; and nominal cutting length is 40 cm. Each saw must be fully assembled and fitted with a 3/8-inch-pitch chain and a guide bar and chain matching the STIHL models specified in the tender documents or their equivalents. Operating fluids are not to be included. Delivery is due within six weeks of contract award to the Berlin Fire Brigade equipment depot at Gravensteinstraße 9, 13127 Berlin. Price is the sole award criterion; a tie is decided by lot. Bidders must submit a complete bid in German electronically through the Berlin procurement platform, including the completed offer letter, price sheet, technical specification, contact details and mandatory product data sheet.
