RFID conversion: RFID tagging of library books

Summary

The University Library of Trier is procuring the conversion of approximately 1,375,000 books to UHF RFID technology at two library locations on the university campus in Trier. The work includes attaching RFID labels, writing and verifying the books’ identification numbers on the labels, and returning the books to their original shelf order. The service will be provided by a single contractor, is not divided into lots, and must take no more than five months between 1 December 2026 and 30 June 2027.
