Steel construction works for the Deutzer Hafen bridges

Summary

The project covers steelwork for a new road bridge and a separate pedestrian and cycle bridge over Deutzer Hafen in Cologne, including fabrication, delivery and installation of the steel structures, bridge decks and surfacing, railings, corrosion protection, lighting and electrical installations, drainage, and fittings. The listed quantities include approximately 1,130 tonnes of steelwork for the road bridge and 340 tonnes for the pedestrian and cycle bridge. A separate lot covers underwater unexploded-ordnance surveys and follow-up investigations, including 64 survey locations, 576 metres of borehole surveys and up to 150 metres of additional investigations.
