Maintenance of specialist transport equipment, 2027–2029

Summary

The Hungarian defence procurement concerns maintenance and repair services for specialist transport equipment from 2027 through 2029, including inspections and related work. The single, undivided contract has a net ceiling of HUF 336 million, with a planned annual allocation of HUF 112 million; the buyer commits to using 70% of the ceiling. The estimated scope covers 300 forklifts, 90 truck-mounted loading units, 80 container-handling and transport vehicles or vehicle combinations and other special vehicles, 50 electric-forklift batteries and chargers, 100 manual or auxiliary handling devices, 50 containers or exchange bodies, and 50 unit-load-forming devices and other materials or equipment. Services will be carried out at military locations and exercise or mission sites in Hungary and, where repairs require it, at the contractor’s premises.
