Development of the Jósa András Museum

Summary

The municipality of Nyíregyháza is procuring the comprehensive renovation and tourism-oriented development of the Jósa András Museum as a single, integrated works contract. The project covers the protected museum buildings A and B, with a renovated useful floor area of 4,043 m², and the demolition of buildings C and D, measuring 759.54 m² and 910.16 m² respectively. Works include structural strengthening, façade restoration, exhibition spaces, building services and electrical upgrades, accessibility improvements, interior fit-out, landscaping and green areas; implementation must also use building information modelling for as-built plans.
