Main electricity network design – Package 1

Summary

E.ON electricity-network companies are procuring design services in 12 lots for substation, overhead-line and telecommunications-network works. The lots cover protection-system and transformer-connection designs; replacement and expansion of optical-fibre equipment and cables; overhead-line capacity increases, conductor replacement and removal of non-compliant conditions; and complete reconstruction design for a 28.55 km 132 kV line. The scope includes construction and as-built designs, with optional on-site design supervision; the planned contract period is 48 months.
