Supply and construction of a 15 MW wood-chip-fired boiler plant

Summary

Brande Fjernvarme is procuring a turnkey design-and-build contract for a complete wood-chip-fired boiler plant of approximately 15 MW in Brande, estimated at DKK 140 million. The works include the boiler building, fuel storage, flue-gas cleaning and condensation, district-heating heat exchangers, electrical systems, control and monitoring systems, commissioning and handover. The plant will supply heat to the district-heating network and hot water of at least 180°C to an industrial customer. The contract includes three years of service, with an option to extend service through years 4–10 after handover; the plant is to be prepared for a future absorption heat pump, which is not part of this procurement.
