Feasibility and environmental assessments for the northern Bucharest Metro Line 2 extension

Summary

Sector 2 of Bucharest Municipality is procuring feasibility, environmental impact and appropriate strategic assessment services for the extension of Metro Line 2 in northern Bucharest. The project concerns an approximately 2 km section from Pipera to Petricani, connecting the metro line with Petricani railway station, and is expected to include two stations whose locations will be determined through the studies. The services cover option analysis, preliminary design and the feasibility study, as well as support for expropriation, funding and procurement procedures. The contract is for one lot, has an estimated value of RON 6,109,320 and is scheduled to run for 26 months.
