Group Framework Agreement for Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), 2027–2031, with an Option to Extend Until 2035

Summary

TIWAG-Tiroler Wasserkraft AG and other contracting authorities are procuring horizontal directional drilling (HDD) works in North and East Tyrol under a single-supplier framework agreement. The work includes crossings and longitudinal drilling with an outer diameter of up to 450 mm, sometimes in soil classes 6 and 7, as well as associated earthworks, breaking-up and reinstatement, installation and welding of PE-HD pipes, and installation of supplied fibre-optic duct systems. The agreement has an initial four-year term, with annual extension options up to a maximum of eight years. An estimated 60–100 work orders and EUR 6–8 million in work volume per year are anticipated; the framework maximum is EUR 83.9 million.
