Main contract for transforming the Royal Palace and Palace Garden into the Roskilde Cathedral World Heritage Centre

Summary

Ejendomsfonden Roskilde Domkirke Verdensarvscenter is procuring a single main construction contract to transform parts of the listed Royal Palace and its adjoining Palace Garden in Roskilde into a World Heritage Centre. The works include construction and building services, necessary ancillary services, coordination and completion of the execution design, and supplementary design and technical detailing for the contractor’s own work. Exhibition works are excluded and will be carried out under a separate contract. The estimated construction budget is DKK 41 million excluding VAT; works are expected to start on 1 April 2027 and be completed by 26 April 2028.
