Canitz Waterworks – Preventive Flood Protection and Replacement of the Trunk Pipeline

Summary

Kommunale Wasserwerke Leipzig GmbH is procuring preventive flood-protection works and replacement of a trunk water pipeline at the Canitz waterworks. The works include approximately 2,500 m of borehole investigation and 1,800 m² of area investigation, removal and installation of pipelines and temporary drinking-water lines, approximately 2,600 m of sheet piles, concrete works, earthworks, asphalt paving, a drilled well, new water pipelines and cable ducts. The contract is not divided into lots and is scheduled to run from 7 December 2026 to 30 November 2027.
