Summary
Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin is procuring installation of a foam fire suppression system for the approximately 893 m² rooftop helipad at the new German Heart Center of Charité building on the Virchow-Klinikum campus. The system is to use remotely controlled fire monitors with manual activation, with its technical room and extinguishing-agent tanks located below the helipad; the technical room is also to be included in the building’s sprinkler protection. Fire alarms will be transmitted through the fire alarm control panel.
