Preparation of a spatial policy plan, a centres plan and a general building code for the Municipality of Londerzeel

Summary

The Municipality of Londerzeel is procuring specialist planning services in three lots: a spatial policy plan for the municipality, a simplified spatial implementation plan for its centres, and a general building code. The spatial policy plan covers a strategic vision for 2040–2050, policy frameworks for built-up and open space, participation and communication, and a strategic environmental assessment; a housing-needs sub-study is also envisaged. The centres plan is to set broad land-use designations, allow three residential floors within three building storeys, define commercial centres and potentially repeal outdated plans. The building code will establish quality requirements for built-up areas, including siting, plot widths, parking, gardens, multi-apartment buildings, nature and open space.
