Dynamic purchasing system for soil reception, treatment and onward management at environmentally permitted facilities

Summary

HOFOR is establishing a dynamic purchasing system for services to receive, treat and redirect soil from its operational, renovation and construction works to environmentally permitted facilities. The services may include separate storage, dewatering, treatment and cleaning, reuse in HOFOR excavations, recovery or final use; the soil may be dry or wet, documented or undocumented, clean or contaminated. The expected quantity is 6,650,000 tonnes and the maximum is 9,800,000 tonnes. The system may run until 31 December 2040, with individual periodic contracts normally lasting 1–2 years and potentially extended twice for a total of up to 24 months.
