Research Vessel for Inland Waters

Summary

Ireland’s Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage is procuring one enclosed river-cruiser-class research vessel for scientific work and operational use on Lough Ree and the River Shannon catchment. New and second-hand vessels are acceptable. The vessel must have a maximum air draft of 3.80 m, a maximum water draft of 0.82 m, 5–6 berths in two separate cabins, a functional flybridge and heavy-duty stainless-steel davits; second-hand vessels must have fewer than 1,000 certified engine hours and complete service records. The estimated contract value is EUR 200,000.
