Estate Management Strategy

Summary

Waterways Ireland is procuring a comprehensive estate management strategy to be completed by March 2027. The strategy must align the property estate with corporate objectives and service delivery, improve operational efficiency and financial sustainability, determine the appropriate size and configuration for current and future needs, and maximise value from land and property assets. It should also consider suitable reuse, redevelopment, rationalisation and investment opportunities. Although the entire estate is in scope, particular emphasis will be placed on the operational estate and the headquarters building because of its strategic importance, operational role and significant operating costs. The estimated contract value is EUR 100,000, and the submission deadline is 30 September 2026.
