Supply of bulk road salt for winter road maintenance through 30 April 2028

Summary

The contract covers the successive delivery of up to 1,000 tonnes of loose “DS” road salt to the municipal company’s depot at Kościelna 7, Brzeszcze. It runs from signature until 30 April 2028. The actual quantity will depend on winter weather, but at least 300 tonnes will be purchased. Deliveries will be ordered as needed; a typical individual delivery is about 75 tonnes and must arrive within the offered lead time, which cannot exceed 120 hours after a partial order. Receiving hours are 7:00–14:00 on working days. The salt must meet specified composition and grain-size requirements: at least 90% NaCl, no more than 3.0% water, no more than 8.0% water-insoluble matter, at least 20.0 mg/kg anti-caking agent, no more than 6% of grains over 6 mm, and 35–50% of grains under 1 mm. It must be supplied loose, be free-flowing, white or greyish-white, and comply with the applicable standards and legal requirements. The supplier must include all transport and weighing-related costs in its price. The bidder must demonstrate proper completion, during the previous three years, of at least two road-salt deliveries each worth at least PLN 250,000 gross. The tender must include a technical opinion on the salt, a hygiene certificate or equivalent evidence, and laboratory results confirming compliance. A PLN 2,000 tender guarantee is required; the successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 5% of the gross contract price before signing. Tenders are evaluated on price (90%) and delivery time (10%).
