Railway liability insurance for MÁV transport operations

Summary

MÁV Passenger Transport is procuring a single, integrated railway liability insurance service for 2027–2028, covering nationwide rail passenger transport and freight operations as well as urban rail passenger transport. The policy must cover liability for general and catastrophic railway accidents, with limits of HUF 900 million per claim and insurance period for nationwide operations and HUF 400 million for urban operations; the respective deductibles are HUF 100 million and HUF 50 million per claim. The 24-month contract may be extended once by 12 months.
