Security System Maintenance and Fault Repair

Summary

The tender covers maintenance and fault repair of security systems at the bus-operation sites of MÁV Passenger Transport, divided into three regional lots. Systems in use will receive scheduled maintenance every quarter. The contract also includes case-by-case fault diagnosis and repair, and, when required, removal, relocation and reinstallation of systems. At the start of the procurement there were 334 systems in the Eastern Region, 141 in the Central Region and 136 in the Western Region; planned quantities may change when orders are placed. Fault response is provided through a 24-hour on-call service, with work to be completed as quickly as technically possible while restoring the original protection level and operational condition. The contract runs for 12 months and may be extended once by 6 months. Maximum order values, excluding VAT, are HUF 156,000,000 for the Eastern Region, HUF 95,500,000 for the Central Region and HUF 93,500,000 for the Western Region. The contracting authority undertakes to place orders worth at least 70% of each lot's maximum. Tenders are evaluated on the basis of the best price-quality ratio, taking into account the quarterly maintenance price, call-out fee, hourly rate for repairs, time to begin fault diagnosis and the rate of the cooperation charge. Fault diagnosis must begin within 4 to 24 hours, and the cooperation charge may not exceed 12%. The submission deadline is 9 October 2026 at 13:00. Bidders must demonstrate the required previous experience and submit the price table and all required forms, declarations and evidence. The successful bidder must hold the relevant police-authority licence and maintain the required liability insurance during contract performance. No bid guarantee is required.
