High-voltage overhead line corridor clearance in the Sofia region

Summary

ESO’s Sofia regional network operation unit is procuring clearance of the protected corridors of 110, 220 and 400 kV overhead transmission lines. Work includes removing trees, shrubs and branches in forest clearings, removing or pruning vegetation outside forests, and moving felled timber to the edge of the corridor so the strip between the outer conductors remains clear. The four lots cover 648.43, 771.35, 900.50 and 533.20 decares respectively; Lot 1 also includes felling and hauling 10 m³ of timber to a storage site.
