Ticket inspection and quality control services

Summary

Midttrafik is procuring ticket inspection and quality control services in two lots: annually, 12,500 ticket inspections on the Aarhus light rail and 66,250 on Aarhus city buses; outside Aarhus, 23,800 inspections on buses and 6,000 quality checks on buses throughout the Midttrafik area. Both lots will be awarded to one service provider under a single open-ended contract, scheduled to start on 1 September 2027; the contract may not end before 31 December 2031. The scope also includes options to vary service volumes and add tasks, as well as the transfer of the 17 employees currently carrying out ticket inspections on Aarhus city buses.
