Storage and distribution of personal protective equipment

Summary

The tender concerns the storage and distribution of personal protective equipment for the State of Baden-Württemberg’s emergency reserve for future pandemics. In the initial stage, the contractor must provide storage capacity for at least 710 Euro-pallets. In an emergency, capacity must be increased to at least 1,497 Euro-pallets within 14 calendar days of written instruction. The reserve includes FFP2 and surgical masks, nitrile gloves, protective gowns, safety goggles and face shields. The service also covers goods receipt, order picking, dispatch and transport to four university hospital partners. Payment for storage is based on the number of pallets actually stored, not on a guaranteed minimum purchase quantity. The bidder must submit the price sheet, references, details of a two-person project team, binding plans for warehousing, distribution, goods receipt and dispatch, and sustainability, details of the warehouse location, proof of DIN EN ISO 9001 quality management certification and a commercial-register extract. Declarations concerning exclusion grounds, links to Russia, minimum pay, confidentiality, data protection and data security are also required.
