Supply of spare parts and consumables and post-warranty servicing of medical equipment

Summary

The tender covers the supply of spare parts and consumables and post-warranty servicing of equipment used by the Faculty of Dental Medicine, the Medical College and the University Medical-Dental Centre of Varna Medical University. Servicing may take place at the equipment location or, where necessary, at the service centre of the manufacturer or its authorised representative. The estimated total value is EUR 76,690 excluding VAT: EUR 70,000 for spare parts and consumables, including EUR 58,000 for items listed in the technical specification and up to EUR 12,000 for related items not listed there; EUR 6,690 is allocated to servicing. The estimated quantities are 646 supply units and, if needed, servicing for up to 1,312 items of equipment. The contract runs for 12 months, and orders will depend on the contracting authority’s needs and available funding. Ordered spare parts or consumables must be delivered within 25 working days. A qualified specialist’s site visit and initial diagnosis must be arranged within 2 working days; an issue diagnosed on site must be resolved within 3 working days. Repairs at a service centre, including transport, must be completed within 50 working days. Bids are evaluated against five price factors: total price for listed spare parts and consumables (60%), markup on goods not listed in the technical specification (15%), hourly labour rate (10%), transport cost (10%) and repair organisation fee (5%). The successful bidder must provide a contract performance guarantee. Bidders must demonstrate at least one relevant supply or service completed during the previous three years.
