Reconstruction of Existing Heat Networks and Conversion from Steam to Hot Water – Part 2, Stage IV

Summary

The tender concerns the reconstruction of existing district-heating networks in Žilina and the conversion of the heat-transfer medium from steam to hot water. The works include the main network, a hospital connection, several heat-transfer stations and an expansion of the central heat-exchange station’s technology. The estimated value is EUR 27,379,140.78 and the planned duration is 23 months. Bids must be submitted electronically by 12:00 on 22 October 2026 and will be opened at 13:00 that day. A EUR 500,000 tender guarantee is required, and bids must remain valid for 12 months. Price excluding VAT is the sole award criterion. To participate, bidders must demonstrate turnover of at least EUR 25 million across the last three available financial years, the required liquidity ratios, substantial experience in constructing district-heating networks and heat-transfer stations, and suitably qualified site managers and welding specialists. Bidders must also have at least two mobile radiographic testing laboratories and EMAS registration or equivalent evidence of environmental management.
