Construction of the Coolock–Clontarf Active Travel Scheme, Section 2: Gracefield Road to Vernon Avenue

Dublin City Council is procuring construction works for Section 2 of the Coolock to Clontarf Active Travel Scheme, between Gracefield Road and Vernon Avenue. The works will provide approximately 2.6 km of protected cycle lanes in both directions, improve footpaths and junctions, and upgrade seven signal-controlled junctions. The scope includes reconfiguring and resurfacing the carriageway, kerbs and footways, traffic islands, public lighting, signs and road markings, drainage, traffic signals and ducting, utilities, landscaping, bicycle stands and temporary traffic management. The estimated contract value is EUR 6,130,000 and the contract duration is 18 months; the project is subject to funding.
