Making stops on the 56–56A tram line accessible
Summary
The contract covers reconstruction of stops on Budapest’s 56–56A tram line so that new low-floor trams can serve them and passengers can use the stops accessibly. The works are divided into two lots. Lot 1 covers the Déli pályaudvar, Mikó utca and Dózsa György tér stops, including works to tracks, platforms, roads, pavements, lighting, traffic control and utilities. The main works include 240 track metres and six platforms; the contracting authority may additionally order accessibility works at Krisztina tér. Lot 2 covers the Szent János Kórház, Akadémia, Vadaskerti út and Völgy utca stops and reconstruction of the Hűvösvölgy terminus, including track and overhead-line works. The main works include 917 track metres, 12 platforms and 62 overhead-line support poles; reconstruction of the Budagyöngye stop may be ordered as an additional task. The contractor will have 175 calendar days from handover of the worksite to carry out the works. Tenders must be submitted electronically, with a tender guarantee of HUF 5,000,000 for Lot 1 and HUF 25,000,000 for Lot 2. Bidders must demonstrate construction registration, relevant experience for the lot concerned and the availability of at least two technical experts with the specified experience. Evaluation awards 70 points for price and 15 points for each of two additional-expert criteria.
