Services to assess the condition and ageing of nuclear safety-related structures at Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant

Summary

The tender covers technical condition assessment, analysis and testing, as well as evaluation of the long-term behaviour and ageing of nuclear safety-related industrial and hydraulic structures at Units 1 and 2 of the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant. The work includes, among other facilities, the reactor building, auxiliary-service and spent-fuel structures, emergency-system buildings, and cooling-water channels and structures. The contractor must provide findings, improvement recommendations and necessary compensatory measures for the monitoring and ageing-management programme, and produce 17 deliverables. The contract runs for 45 months, including 38 months of actual service delivery. The estimated value is EUR 2,856,500. Price accounts for 40% of the award criteria and the technical component for 60%. Participation requires a EUR 28,565 tender guarantee and compliance with the turnover, quality-management and relevant past-experience requirements.
