Railway infrastructure reconstruction and electrification between České Velenice and Veselí nad Lužnicí

Summary

The contract covers reconstruction and electrification of the railway infrastructure between České Velenice and Veselí nad Lužnicí. The works include reconstructing the track superstructure and substructure, culverts and bridges; building new platforms 550 mm high; installing a 25 kV AC overhead line and low- and high-voltage power supplies; and providing communications and signalling systems. The project also aims to increase railway capacity and transport safety. The planned works period is 34 months from 31 December 2026. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 9:00 a.m. on 10 November 2026. A tender guarantee of CZK 50 million is required, and the tender price excluding VAT must not exceed CZK 5,807,867,181. Price is the sole award criterion; if the lowest prices are tied, the earlier-submitted tender ranks higher.
