Expansion of the railway formation and structures in southern Sint-Genesius-Rode
Summary
The tender covers expansion of the railway formation alongside the existing L124 line in the southern part of Sint-Genesius-Rode, together with construction and alteration of railway, road and hydraulic structures. The works include railway drainage, signalling cable routes and overhead-line foundations; relocation of two VIVAQUA water mains with diameters of 1,100 mm and 1,300 mm; road and sewer works on Hoekstraat and Gehuchtstraat; and construction of the F207 cycle highway parallel to the railway. The works also include a pedestrian and cycle tunnel beneath the railway, a diversion channel for the Molenbeek, a new railway bridge, and alterations or extensions to existing bridges and hydraulic structures. At De Hoek station, access stairs, ramps and lift shafts will be built; the lifts themselves will be installed separately by NMBS. An ecological passage will also be constructed. The planned works period is 2,852 days. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 5 November 2026 at 14:00. A tender guarantee of 5% of the original contract amount is required.
