Editing and digital binding of manuscript and printed-work images

Summary

The National Library of Portugal is procuring the processing and digital binding of images of digitised single-volume manuscripts and printed works for the National Digital Library. The procurement has two lots: Lot 1 covers approximately 3,000,000 manuscript images, and Lot 2 approximately 1,606,217 images of printed works. Digital access copies are to be produced; the printed-works lot also includes automatic text recognition and files in ALTO format. The work must be completed by 21 December 2026.
