Study and organisation of documentary series in the Central Archive
Summary
The contract covers technical archival services to examine, identify, describe and rearrange documentary series held in the Ministry's Central Archive. The work concerns series from the State Secretariat and the Undersecretariat, including records relating to equivalence, recognition, qualifications and nursing; approximately 9,400 archive boxes are to be reviewed. The contractor will organise files, remove copies and items harmful to document preservation, place files in folders and standardised boxes, arrange the boxes in compact shelving, describe files according to archival standards and prepare inventories. Work will take place at the Central Archive premises in Madrid during the morning shift, using the archive's instructions and materials. The contract runs for 12 months from 4 January 2027, or from the day after contract signature if later, and may be extended by 12 months. The maximum budget is €49,767.35 excluding VAT and €60,218.49 including VAT; the estimated value including the possible extension is €99,534.70 excluding VAT. Price is worth up to 70 points, while archival or records-management courses of at least 15 hours completed by the two assigned staff members are worth up to 30 points in total. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and comparable archival-service experience and provide two archive assistants with the required administrative vocational qualification and at least one year of relevant experience. Bids are submitted electronically under the simplified open procedure.
