Successive deliveries of wood pellets

Summary

The procurement is for 136 tonnes of certified Class A1 wood pellets, delivered in successive consignments to heat a school boiler house in Lipsko. The pellets must comply with EN 14961-2: diameter 6 ± 1 mm or 8 ± 1 mm; length 3.15–40 mm; moisture no more than 10%; ash content no more than 0.7%; mechanical durability at least 97.5%; fines no more than 1%; net calorific value 16.5–19 MJ/kg; bulk density at least 600 kg/m³; nitrogen no more than 0.3%; sulphur no more than 0.03%; chlorine no more than 0.02%; and ash deformation temperature at least 1200°C. The pellets must be dry, clean and free of contaminants. Fuel made from plastics or containing flammable additives is not permitted. Deliveries are made by tanker against orders, generally within 5 days of an order. They must be scheduled in advance and made on weekdays between 7:00 and 14:00. The gross weight of the loaded vehicle must not exceed 50 tonnes. Each delivery must be accompanied by a delivery note confirming the quantity and a pellet quality certificate. The contractor bears the delivery costs and risks. The contract runs for two months from signing, but no later than 29 December 2026. The contracting authority may exercise an option to increase the quantity by 20%; the contract also permits a reduction in the quantity ordered. Price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted electronically with the A1 certificate and completed bid and pricing forms.
