Carbon Certificates from Biobased Construction Materials – Growers 2027

Summary

Stichting Nationaal Groenfonds is procuring future carbon certificates generated from biobased construction materials, on behalf of the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature. The 2027 programme has 12 crop and material lots covering hemp, cereal and sorghum straw, cattail, flax, reed and residual biomass, miscanthus, elephant grass, willow, bamboo, paulownia and timber. Its total budget is €2.5 million, with a target purchase of 22,700–26,300 certificates.
