Venlo ’t Bat dike reinforcement

Summary

Waterschap Limburg is procuring an integrated design-and-construction contract to reinforce the Venlo ’t Bat flood defence, part of primary dike section 68-1 beside Venlo’s historic city centre and the River Meuse. The single-lot works are intended to improve flood safety while fitting the dike into the urban, cultural and public-space setting, including the Maaskade area and barrier works at Courtine and Peperstraat. The planned contract period is 39 months.
