Delivery of the Institution of Residence function

Summary

The Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport is procuring the administration of the Institution of Residence function for around 40,000 residents of the Netherlands who are insured in participating foreign countries and are entitled to healthcare at the expense of their country of insurance. The service includes arranging access to care and administering related information and costs; the estimated value is €2.5–5.5 million per year, with a maximum contract value of €55 million excluding VAT and indexation. The initial term runs from 1 January 2028 to 31 January 2031, with up to three extensions of up to two years each.
