Construction of the new NV BAR-Afvalbeheer facility under a building team contract

Summary

The Municipality of Ridderkerk is procuring two lots for the new NV BAR-Afvalbeheer facility in Ridderkerk: lot 1 covers the building works, site and outdoor areas, while lot 2 covers mechanical and electrical installations. The project includes a 1,470 m² gross-floor-area building and 1,410 m² of building-related outdoor space, with offices, staff washing and changing facilities, a workshop and vehicle shed, and a truck wash. The building team will develop the preliminary design into a technical design and then deliver the works; a 24-month service and maintenance period follows completion.
