Replacement of air-conditioning equipment (chiller, VRF and split systems)

Summary

The University of Algarve is procuring construction works to replace heating, ventilation and air-conditioning equipment at its Faro campus, including a chiller, a VRF system and split units. The works must be completed within 150 days, and the maximum budget is EUR 326,700 excluding VAT. Bids will be evaluated on price (60%) and technical merit (40%). Technical merit is assessed using the works schedule, workforce and equipment plans, method statement and financial schedule. Tenderers must submit the required digitally signed bid documents and hold a suitable IMPIC public works contractor’s licence. The successful tenderer must also provide a guarantee equal to 5% of the contract price and maintain valid liability insurance.
