Postal services

Summary

The contract covers postal services at all locations of the Amsterdam ROC and Amsterdam secondary education organisations. The contractor must handle bulk and individual mail, mailbox-sized parcels, parcels, registered mail and parcels, and express consignments, as well as collection and delivery services and a convenience service for mixed mail flows. The service includes sorting, processing and delivery: nationwide delivery in the Netherlands is required, and international consignments must also be handled. Indicative 2025 volumes were 140,000 bulk mail items, 500 parcels and mailbox-sized parcels, and 2,500 registered consignments. These figures are estimates; there is no purchase commitment or minimum volume. The contract starts on 1 February 2027, runs for two years and may be extended up to four times by one year, ending no later than 31 January 2033. Bids must be submitted electronically by 23 November 2026 at 10:00. Price accounts for 40% of the evaluation and quality for 60%: sustainability 20%, social impact 25%, and reliable service and continuous improvement 15%. Bidders must submit a price schedule and responses addressing sustainability, social impact, service quality and improvement.
