Fire insurance for the Municipality of De Wolden

Summary

The Municipality of De Wolden is procuring fire insurance with extended perils cover for its buildings, installations, business equipment and contents, goods, and educational premises. The current estimated total insured value is approximately EUR 187,000,000. The insurance is treated as one integrated contract, but the contracting authority intends to involve several insurers and therefore permits bids only for a partial share of the cover. The contract starts on 1 January 2027 at 12:00, runs initially for 36 months and is tacitly extended in successive 12-month periods, up to a maximum total term of 120 months (10 years). This is a two-stage restricted procedure: interested insurers first submit a request to participate, and selected applicants are then invited to tender.
