Motor Vehicle Insurance 2027-2028

Summary

The tender concerns insurance for the Municipality of Terneuzen’s vehicle fleet from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028. The contract may be extended twice by one year. The fleet includes passenger cars, vans, cleaning and sweeping vehicles, trucks, trailers, golf carts and other vehicles; hybrid and electric vehicles must also be accepted under the same conditions during the contract period. The bidder must submit one complete tender covering two separate policies: vehicles insured including VAT and vehicles insured excluding VAT. The two policy prices will be added together for evaluation, and price is the only award criterion. The tender must be submitted electronically in Dutch by 12 October 2026 at 10:00. It must include the price form with vehicle-specific rates for each type of coverage, one qualifying reference and the European Single Procurement Document. The insurance must meet extensive minimum requirements covering, among other things, third-party liability, comprehensive insurance, occupational risk, passenger accident insurance, legal expenses, underground damage, loading and unloading, and hazardous substances. The bidder must provide digital and telephone administration 24 hours a day, deliver management information twice a year and contact an injured party within five working days.
