Reinsurance and excess insurance for Amsterdam’s comprehensive property insurance

Summary

The tender covers two lots for Amsterdam’s comprehensive property insurance portfolio: Lot 1 concerns reinsurance for buildings, business equipment and contents, other property, rolling stock and the vehicle fleet, with a maximum payment of EUR 50,000,000 per event above VGA’s retention; Lot 2 concerns losses exceeding the Lot 1 coverage. The insured sums are EUR 10,923,000,000, EUR 382,000,000 and EUR 200,000,000 respectively. Lot 2 has a maximum loss limit of EUR 400,000,000 per event. Bids must be submitted electronically by 29 September 2026 at 17:00. Price carries up to 700 points, while quality carries up to 300 points for Lot 1 and 200 points for Lot 2. The contract starts on 1 January 2027, initially runs for 24 months and may be extended twice for 12 months.
