Collective occupational disability insurance (AOV)

Summary

The tender concerns the provision of collective occupational disability insurance for 427 employees of Gemeente Peel en Maas. For partial occupational disability, the insurance must supplement the WIA benefit and ABP occupational disability pension to at least 70%; for full occupational disability, it must provide 10% of insured income for WGA 80–100% and 5% for IVA 80–100%. Income must be supplemented until the insured person reaches the applicable state pension age, and premiums are payable while an insurable interest exists. The insured payroll is approximately EUR 20,500,000. The contract runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029 and may be extended once for a further three years. Bids must be submitted electronically in Dutch by 2 November 2026 at 11:00. The evaluation covers the prevention and reintegration programme, the claims-handling procedure and the fictitious annual premium.
