Processing and optional transport of bulky household residual waste

Summary

The tender concerns the processing of Cyclus N.V.’s bulky household residual waste in two lots: Lot 1 covers transport, sorting and processing of door-to-door collected waste, while Lot 2 covers thermal processing of waste from recycling centres, with transport from the recycling centres offered as an option. The estimated annual volumes are 2,200 tonnes for Lot 1 and 11,600 tonnes for Lot 2, in both cases +/- 20%. The contract is expected to start on 1 January 2027, initially run until 31 December 2028, and be extendable twice for up to one year. Tenders must be submitted by 16 September 2026 at 17:00. Price accounts for 70% of the evaluation; the remaining score is based on quality, including material recovery, the method statement, transport distance, R1 value, CO2 capture and residual-material utilisation. The price ceiling is EUR 105 per tonne for Lot 1 and EUR 100 per tonne for Lot 2, excluding VAT, incineration tax and CO2 charges.
