Ferry maintenance GVB

Summary

The tender concerns maintenance of GVB ferries on the IJ and the North Sea Canal. The work includes hull maintenance, preservation, repairs, modifications, dry-docking and related emergency work, split into two lots. Up to three framework contractors may be awarded per lot, and the contract term is 3 years with up to two extensions of 1 year each. The tender also includes optional engine overhauls in lot 1 and optional battery pack procurement and installation in lots 1 and/or 2. A bidder must submit the required forms and documents, prove relevant ferry maintenance experience from the last 3 years, show Dutch-language capability for responsible staff, and meet financial, quality, safety, service, production capacity and BHV requirements. Quality is evaluated together with price under the best price-quality ratio model.
