Pilot for integrating self-employed general practitioner and occupational health services

Summary

Pohjois-Savo Wellbeing Services County is piloting an integrated self-employed general practitioner and occupational health model in Vieremä from 1 January to 30 October 2027. The service covers primary-care medical appointments for the pilot population, including in-person and remote consultations, minor procedures, prescriptions, care and rehabilitation plans, medical statements, multidisciplinary clinical support, and statutory appointments in child health, maternity, family-planning, school and student health services. Statutory sector work is expected to take approximately half a day per week.
